The name, Delilah, first appeared in Judges 16: 4. She was the Gentile woman loved dearly by Samson who was the judge of 

then Israel with great might that God gave him.

Though Samson loved her dearly, she betrayed Samson for the money offered and also to succumb to the wishes of her race, 

thus making Samson lose his great might, his eyes taken out, publically humiliated being degraded to be a mockery and

 a slave pushing grinder in public.

The story of Samson is reminiscent of the One who has fallen in love with the Gentiles of this earth as much as Samson did, and then was betrayed and rejected by those who wanted to serve Satan, the deceiver. He then was tortured beyond recognition 

and then nailed to the cross to be mocked.(Mark 15:29) In this song, the woman who betrayed her lover by sleeping with 

another man infuriating her man got his revenge the next morning.

Yea, the God of the Bible, who was as betrayed and humiliated publically by His own is as angry as the man in the song 

according to the Bible account. For He is as jealous as the man, and so He even tells us that His name is "Jealous" (Exodus 34:14). However, God refrains Himself from revenging right away as the man in the song for He has a grand plan to save some of those rebellious for His great Glory sake.

And, He has patiently held His firey anger wrath until He could finish His plan of salvation, according to Scriptures, the Bible.

Remember, once He could not hold his wrath no more as the man in the story and judged the entire world with water, of which proofs we dig out everywhere on this earth as fossils. He is the Sovereign who let us know that at the end of the world, the judgment shall be by fire for He could not take anymore due to His Holiness and Justice sake.

딜라일라라는 이름은 사사기 16장 4절에 처음 나타난다. 그녀는 그 당시 하나님이 주신 대단한 힘으로써 이스라엘의 사사기 였던 삼손의 사랑을 담뿍 받은 이방인 여자였다.

삼손이 그녀를 지극히 사랑해 주었어도 그녀는, 주어진 뇌물에 그리고 그녀의 종족들이 바라는 바대로 삼손을 배신하여 삼손이 그의 거대한 힘을 잃게 했고, 그가 눈을 뽑히고, 맷돌을 돌리는 노예로 전락 되어 공개적인 조롱과 굴욕을 당하게 한 여자다.

삼손의 이야기는 삼손만큼이나 이 지구 상의 이방인들과 사랑에 빠졌던 그분을 연상케 한다. 그분은 자신들을 속인 사탄을 섬기겠다는 사람들에 의해서 배신당하고 버려졌다. 결국엔 알아볼 수 없도록 고문당하고 십자가에서 조롱받게 되었었다. (마가복음 15:29) 이 노래에서, 다른 남자와 잠자 자기의 남자를 배신한 여자는 그 남자를 격노케 하여 그의 복수를 다음 날 아침에 받는다.

그래, 십자가에서의 죽음을 온 세상이 다 알도록 이 지구상에서 배신당하고 굴욕 당한 성경의 하나님도 그 남자 못지않게 화가 나 있다. 하나님은 자기의 이름이 "질투"(출 34:14) 라고 우리에게 알려 줄 정도로 질투심이 강하신 분이시다. 그러나 하느님은 자기의 위대한 영광을 위해서 반역한 이들 중 일부를 구원하려고 세워 놓은 중대한 계획을 이루고 계신다. 그래서 이 노래에 나오는 사람처럼 즉시 그의 진노를 풀지 않고 계신다.

그리고 성경에 의하자면 그는 구원 계획 이 끝날 때까지 그의 격렬한 진노를 참을 것이라고 알려 준다.

기억들 하는지, 한때 하나님은 노래의 남자처럼 더 이상 분노를 참지 않고 물로 온 세상을 판단한 적이 있었던 것을. 지구의 곳곳에서 화석으로 발굴하는 게 그 증거가 아닌가. 그는 세상 종말에 심판을 불로 할 것이라고 미리 알려 주는 제왕적인 분이시다. 그는 자기의 성결함과 정의로움으로 인하여 "더 이상 참을 수 없다"고 말한다.
